Save the Cairns Taipans

G'day Taipans supporters,

Today we received some very encouraging news.

Basketball Australia has requested we supply confirmation of our ability to provide the $1m guarantee and evidence of $500k of working capital by the 22nd April to ensure we are in the mix for the 2009/10 NBL competition.

Note: April 17th: $422,475 PAID

We now ask that everyone turns their pledges to cash asap, but no later than to arrive as clear funds in the trust account by 21 April to allow us to advise BA (Basketball Australia) that all the boxes are ticked on the 22nd. BA have advised the make up of the NBL will be announced on the 24th April.

Please visit our Pledge Information page to convert your pledge to cash, and lets look forward to the announcement next Friday. As previously advised, all pledges will be returned in full if we aren't accepted into the 2009/10 competition.

Taipans Merchandise shop will be closing as at 5pm Saturday 18th April.
