Behind a 31-point haul from guard Jacob Pilot, Phoenix dominated the Atherton Harriers, 106-68.  In a superb team effort Phoenix controlled the game from the outset and the result of the first Semi-Final never looked in doubt.

Pilot was well supported by Phoenix big-men, Luke Gray (27 points) and Rowan Gray (18 points).  Deba George paced Atherton once again with 31-points and was outstanding in a losing effort.

In the second Semi-Final Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead against the Mulgrave Magic, behind James Comino’s explosive 15-point first quarter.  The Magic looked to make runs during the third quarter but had no match for the Timberwolves offensive output, eventually going down 98-52.  Comino Finished with a game-high 21-points and was well supported by Cairns Taipans player Dean Brebner who finished with 20-points.  Point Guard Jeff Cotter led the Mulgrave roster with 16.

The Grand Final will be played at 4pm next Sunday (March 15) at the Bendigo Bank Basketball Centre.
